What is Playglow?
Playglow helps you discover real-world experiences—games, social events, fitness sessions, and more.
It’s built to bring people together through shared moments, not just profiles.
How do I get started?
Download the app, create your profile, and select your city.
What if my city hasn’t launched yet?
You can still explore the app and post on Glowboard. Events and full features unlock once your city goes live.
2. Discovering & Joining Events
How do I find events?
Browse the Home or Events tab and use filters like category, date, or availability.
How do I join an event?
Open an event → review details → tap Join → complete checkout.
Do I have to pay to join events?
Some events are free, others are paid depending on the host. A small platform fee is added at checkout.
What happens after I join?
>You’re added to the attendee list
> Event chat unlocks
>You can see who else is going
Can I leave an event after joining?
Yes, from the event page. Refunds (if any) depend on the host.

How do I create an event?
Go to the Events tab and tap Create Event. Add details like title, location, date, capacity, pricing, and media.
Who can host events?
Anyone can create and host events on Playglow. There is no application or approval process.
What are hosts responsible for?
Hosts are responsible for organizing and running their events, including the overall experience.
How do hosts get paid?
Payments are processed through the platform and released after the event is completed.

What is the event experience like?
You show up, participate, and engage in a shared activity: sports, social, fitness, or lifestyle.
Can I interact with attendees before the event?
Yes, through the event chat available to all attendees.
Can I share moments during or after the event?
Yes. You can: Share content within the event Post highlights to Glowboard for wider visibility
What happens after the event?
Event content remains available to attendees You can revisit shared moments You may continue connecting with people you met
5. Glowboard
What is Glowboard?
Glowboard is a global feed of real moments from events, short videos and highlights shared by the community.
How is Glowboard different from event content?
Event content stays within the event and is visible to attendees. Glowboard is where standout moments are shared more broadly.
Who can see my posts?
Glowboard is visible to all users on the platform.
6. Connections & Messaging
How do connections work?
You can express interest in people you’ve met at the same event.
When can I message someone?
Messaging unlocks only when both people express interest.
What are Signals?
Signals indicate that someone you met at an event is open to connecting.
Can I see who showed interest?
Free: identities are revealed when interest is mutual Reveal Pass: temporary access to view Signals Glow Pass: full access with additional benefits

What is the platform fee?
A small fee added at checkout when joining events to support the platform.
What is Glow Pass?
A monthly subscription that includes benefits like no platform fees and access to Signals.
What is Reveal Pass?
A one-time option that temporarily unlocks Signals.
8. Safety & Responsibility
Is Playglow responsible for events?
No. Events are created and hosted by individuals or organizers.
What should I keep in mind when attending events?
Use your judgment and attend events you’re comfortable with.
